The Totnes Carpenter was part of a masterplan that involved creating a coherent eco aware collaboration around sitting at a dinner table. This involved producing the room itself and cooking the food that would be consumed in the ritual. The carpenter was a year long analysis of the town as well as proposal within a currently underused car park next to the river that once provided a vital lifeline to the town but has since been replaced by roads.
